CATALYST

About CATALYST

Best for: active groups of friends or couples, with families who love watersports a close second.

CATALYST is a brand-new 2025 Fountaine Pajot catamaran, and the standout here is the crew. Captain Joe brings over 50,000 nautical miles of experience, five transatlantic crossings, RYA Yachtmaster Ocean certification, and a calm, upbeat presence on deck. Chef Georgie, trained at chef academy and raised sailing, turns the galley into a genuine highlight: fresh, seasonal menus and desserts that guests remember long after the anchor is up. She also photographs your trip, so you leave with a proper record of the week.

Up to eight guests sleep across four queen cabins, giving groups or two couples excellent privacy. The toy inventory is serious: a powerful eight-person tender, subwing, kayaks, paddleboards, wakeboard, kneeboard, towable tube, snorkel gear, and fishing kit. Kiteboarding and wing foiling gear are available as an add-on for those who want to go further. Joe runs a full, upbeat programme and Georgie keeps every meal feeling like an occasion, making CATALYST a strong pick for guests who want both adventure on the water and quality around the table.

Accommodations

CATALYST is a 2025 Fountaine Pajot Samana 59 built for effortless luxury, comfort, and sun-soaked social living. Her standout feature is the Samana’s expansive flybridge, the largest in her class, creating an over-the-sea terrace for daybeds, dining, sundowners, and stargazing. The aft cockpit flows into a panoramic salon with an open-plan galley, while the forward bow lounge adds a breezy perch for morning mimosas or sunset views.

Accommodating up to 8 guests, CATALYST offers 1 owner’s cabin and 3 queen guest cabins, each with a private ensuite. At the waterline, a hydraulic swim platform makes ocean dips and launching water toys a breeze. Offered only select weeks and customized beyond the standard build, she feels polished, personal, and unforgettable. Crew accommodations are in 1 queen cabin.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
