Built in 2020 by ICE Yachts and based in Gaeta on the Tyrrhenian coast, PURA FOLLIA is a modern performance sailing yacht whose standout is exactly that: she is genuinely built to sail, and she does it well. At 19 metres she carries up to six guests across three cabins, with a crew of three on hand throughout.
Captain Vittorio Ammutinato brings close to two decades in the nautical sector, including a previous stint in command of this very boat, so he arrives with complete knowledge of her capabilities and quirks. That continuity translates directly into smoother passages and a crew that can read what guests want on the water. Amedeo, the sailor, adds a background in large-hull construction and hands-on deck experience. Ashore, three electric scooters let the group explore independently, while the tender with a 15hp outboard handles everything from swimming stops to coastal runs. Following her charter on board the Pura Follia, The client reported some points to me. They were crew were delighted with their navigation on board Pura Follia.
She was charmed by the service offered by the crew which was composed of 3 people instead of 2 initially planned.
The boat is beautiful and the captain transmitted his passion for sailing and the boat itself to all the guests. Pura Follia is a "comfortable, luxurious and sporty boat".
The little extra: the captain let them take the helm. They spend an extraordinary week on board.
Pura Follia gave us moments of pure joy and happiness. Thank you from all of us with great

I too would like to underline the great professionalism and competence of Commander
Vittorio. We had a lot of wind, but the Captain always knew how to handle all situations with
great prudence and safety and we always felt good and had a lot of fun sailing. The trip has
been satisfactory, the ship is a very good one and sails very fast, very well conducted by
Vittorio which has shown a very high degree of experience and cooperation. We spent a
beautiful week. The situation on board has always been serene, courteous and amusing and
this is perhaps the most important thing.
