Southern Charm is a 2020 Leopard 50 catamaran sailing the British Virgin Islands with Kevin and Elizabeth King, a couple who have lived, worked, and now sail together since childhood. That shared instinct for partnership translates directly into how they host: attentive, warm, and quietly impressive in the water.
Six guests across three queen-cabin suites, each with a private head and walk-in shower, means nobody crowds anyone. Four distinct social spaces, from the forward cockpit to the sky lounge, mean the whole group can gather or spread out as the mood takes them. On the water, the toy list earns its keep: two sea scooters, a subwing, an XL SUP that fits five or six people, a floating mat, snorkel gear, and fishing tackle. Accommodations
Southern Charm features 4 different social gathering areas which include the forward cockpit seating area, the Sky lounge the aft cockpit and salon area. Guests will enjoy the ability to sit with friends, family and guests in an area that accommodates 12 people at a time or a cozy 3-4 people for a more private setting. All cabins feature oversized queen beds with added comfort topper with high quality linen sheets. Each cabin has its own private head, bathroom with toilet (head), sink and walk-in shower with platseak comfort, non-slip flooring. Cabins also include a closet and drawers for storage.

How did you enjoy your cruising vacation?
The charter was equal parts invigoration with snorkeling and paddle boarding along with rest and relaxation. The gourmet cuisine for each meal was such a treat.
How is the yacht? Is she clean and well- maintained? Were your cabins comfortable? Was the cockpit comfortable? Was there enough shade?
The charter was perfect. The yacht was clean and comfortable. The cabins were tranquil for slumber as we spent every waking moment we could exploring and cruising. There was also some shade somewhere on the boat at all times.
Did you use all the water toys? We snorkeled at several locations and paddled boarded.
The meals were beyond out expectations with homemade dressings for salads and snacks mid day. Our preference sheets were followed perfectly.
My family feels like we made life long friends with Capital Kevin and Elizabeth. They are engaging in our lives and they shared their love of sailing with us. Their southern hospitality warmed our hearts with our first step on the boat.

How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your vacation?
We wish we could have extended our stay and are looking forward to our next trip. It was extremely laid back and relaxing.
We feel so blessed to have experienced such an impactful vacation. With every trip, we can't wait to plan the next one but this one was so very different. I can not imagine anything topping our week on Southern Charm.
"Almost 10 years ago my husband and I went on first sailing trip with Kevin and Elizabeth King to the British Virgin Islands. This trip opened up our eyes to a whole new way of traveling. We had so much fun exploring a new island everyday. We were able to snorkel through beautiful reefs, eat at fabulous restaurants, fish for our dinner, and even learn how to sail. I honestly think the best part of the trip was the atmosphere you guys created. You were fun, kind and went out of your way to make this trip super awesome. This may be the first vacation where I gained weight. The meals were fabulous! We were spoiled rotten with all the comforts of home. The boat is gorgeous, the hospitality definitely Southern, and the activities top notch!
Thank you for an amazing experience. From the beautiful new boat, to the incredible food to the stunning islands - we had such a blast! Thank you for your patience with picky eaters and the fishing obsessed - you truly made the trip so special for our friends and us! HIGHLIGHTS - tuna nicose salad, banana pudding, all the paddle boards, breakfast crepes, shipwreck snorkeling, fishing, and a dance party karaoke to end 2020. Complete with costumes! It was a lovely and restful week aboard a boat that brought peace to our souls. This was truly such a special experience with dear friends after an insane year.
