About SOFIA D

Best for: families seeking a polished Aegean escape, with couples and groups of friends a close second.

SOFIA D is a 24-metre Ferretti motor yacht based in Piraeus, and her full-beam master cabin is the standout feature: a genuinely spacious, hotel-quality retreat that sets the tone for the whole experience aboard. Up to nine guests are accommodated across four en-suite cabins, each finished with care and designed for privacy. A crew of four, including Captain Andreas Papaspyropoulos who brings over a decade of command experience in Greek waters, ensures the yacht runs smoothly from embarkation to final anchorage.

Chef Leonardos Goneos brings serious restaurant credentials to the galley, covering Greek and Mediterranean cooking through to French, Italian, and Asian cuisines, so the table matches the scenery. A Novurania tender with a 40hp Yamaha gets guests ashore or to the next bay quickly, and a banana boat adds a lighter note for families or groups. For those who want the Aegean done properly, with a capable crew, honest comfort, and real food, SOFIA D delivers it.

Accommodations

Sofia D welcomes up to nine guests in four beautifully appointed en-suite cabins, thoughtfully designed to offer privacy, comfort, and refined elegance throughout the yacht.

The full-beam Master cabin, located on the lower deck, provides a serene retreat with generous space, refined décor, and ample storage. Large windows enhance the sense of openness, while the en-suite bathroom features high-quality finishes for a hotel-style experience at sea.

The VIP cabin offers similar comfort and sophistication, with a well-designed layout, luxurious bedding, and its own en-suite facilities—ideal for guests seeking both comfort and privacy.

Two Twin cabins complete the accommodation layout, each tastefully finished and equipped with en-suite bathrooms. One of the Twin cabins includes a Pullman berth, making Sofia D particularly suitable for families or groups with children, while still maintaining flexibility and comfort.

All cabins are air-conditioned, finished with warm tones and fine materials, and benefit from excellent sound insulation, ensuring restful nights even while cruising.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
