Stella Mare is a brand-new 2025 Lagoon 55 catamaran based in the British Virgin Islands, and her standout is one of the most complete water-sports arsenals you will find on a crewed charter yacht in the BVI: four sea scooters, a Waydoo Efoil, waterskis, a wakeboard, two SUPs, a towable tube, snorkel gear, and a floating inflatable dock that turns any anchorage into a base camp. She also holds a BVI fishing licence.
Up to eight guests spread across four en-suite cabins, giving everyone their own space after a full day on the water. Captain Ariel Thrasher was born and raised in the BVI, so guests get genuine local knowledge of the islands rather than a chart-led tour. In the galley, chef Matea Kosovic brings a nutrition science background to cooking, meaning meals are balanced and genuinely good rather than an afterthought. It is an unusually capable package on a boat that has not yet had time to wear in.
