Viva la Vida is a 2022 Sunreef catamaran sailing Spanish waters with a crew of four, and the thing that sets her apart is the combination of serious water-toy arsenal and a chef who shoots what she cooks. Nicole brings a fresh, ingredient-led menu style honed across Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons, and as a trained food photographer she plates with the same care she cooks. Tom, a Dutch captain raised in sailing culture and seasoned in both ocean basins, keeps the programme moving and the watersports tuition genuinely good.
Four cabins sleep up to eight guests across two doubles, a convertible twin-to-double, and a twin with pullman. On the water, the toy list covers e-foil, two Seabobs, wakeboards, water skis, two kayaks, two paddleboards, towing toys, and snorkelling gear, giving active families or friends a different activity every morning. Karmela runs hospitality onboard with a hospitality and events background that shows in the detail, while South African deckhand Andrew handles gear and water activities. Spain as a base puts varied coastline, anchorages, and local markets squarely within reach.

The client has let me know that they had a fabulous stay on board: great crew -friendly and super helpful; stunning attention to little details (picked up and appreciated by wife and all the girls); chef was fantastic every day. Originally the clients had planned to go out for dinner etc more than they did, but the food was so good they hardly went elsewhere. My clients appreciated it was a lot of work for the chef who yet remained very cheerful to the end.
