A blend of emerald waters, lush green landscapes, and charming coastal villages, making it a perfect gateway to the Ionian Islands.
Calming Yacht Charters in Corfu
Picturesque sailing, romantic tavernas, Greek mythology and beautiful beaches make the North Ionian Island group one of the most popular sailing holiday destinations in the Mediterranean.
Begin your Greek island yacht charter from Corfu's Gouvia bay and mix up long passages and short island hops.
The North Ionian has some of the Mediterranean's best towns and smaller islands, each fringed by turquoise water.
Sail to nearby islands Paxos and Antipaxos, home to olive groves and vineyards, stunning white-sand beaches and crystalline waters. Over on the Greek mainland, the sumptuous Sivota Mourtos and Parga, are both well worth a visit.
Paxos island has it all, just 9nm off the west coast of mainland Greece - sandy beach, spectacular scenery, idyllic towns, excellent nightlife (especially Lakka Town) and crystal-clear waters.

When to Visit Corfu
The North Ionian yachting season runs from April to October. Our favourite times to visit are June and September, when the weather is very pleasant and the anchorages aren't too crowded.
Corfu temperatures peak in the high 30s °C in July and August, when the school holidays mean the waters can get quite congested, and air conditioning becomes a must!!
The summertime prevailing wind, the Maistro, is a generally gentle (and sometimes timid) NW that likes a morning lie-in and generally goes to bed early around sunset. But beware the extreme ends of the season, as the weather is less predicable and can get quite feisty.
